International Development/Global Studies Exhibition Facilitators Required
BRIDGESTHATUNITE is a bilingual, traveling exhibition that invites visitors to explore Canada’s role in the world through the lens of a remarkable but little-known partnership with the Aga Khan Development Network in some of the world’s most impoverished regions.
Through the creative interplay of audio, video, text panels and interactive components, BRIDGESTHATUNITE engages visitors in a journey that challenges them to confront typical assumptions about what international development is and what it can achieve. Accompanying the exhibition is a robust programming component: panel discussions, lectures, guided tours, cultural events and activities for youth. The goal of the exhibition is to inspire a dynamic, constructive and forward-thinking vision for Canada’s role in the 21st Century.
Currently, the BRIDGESTHATUNITE team is recruiting bilingual exhibition facilitators who will lead groups and interact with students and visitors in the exhibition. This paid position is ideal for those who have an understanding of international development through their educational, professional or volunteer experience. Daytime, evening as well as weekend shifts will be available. Training will be provided.
Specific facilitator roles include:
• leading guided tours and/or being stationed within a thematic area of the exhibition
• conducting audience research surveys
