Improving the health of children under five and women of childbearing age, who are often the most vulnerable to preventable illness, is vital. In Northern Mozambique, vaccination and bed net campaigns are contributing to decreasing the prevalence of diseases endemic to the area, such as measles and malaria. The mother and infant in this photo are sitting while their doctor fills out a prescription in one of the local dispensaries.
